Take the Chore out of Cleaning

Thu, 30 Mar 2006

Well ladies, cleaning does not need to be a chore.

We know it is anethma to mention the word cleaning, yet like death and tax, we have to go through it. However, there are ways of making it easier for yourself and of course for those who live under the same roof as you do.

We have poor cleanliness habits which of course lead to us creating a mess. So as we have developed habits, can we break them and transform. And here you have mess busting tips for you to ensure that you maintain a clean home without being too pedantic.

When you remove clothing, ensure you place them in a linen basket. Alternatively, if you are not going to wash them say if they are a pair of jeans or a jacket then put them away before you sit down or get on with the next thing.

Dropping clothes where they are removed creates mess and you will find that you will need to pick up at least a week's dirty laundry after yourself. Alternatively, you will need to iron or hang that whioch you don't need to wash.

When cooking, cook on a low heat to ensure that the pan does not boil over. You will then have to clean less after you have finished cooking.

When moving dripping wet items in the home, place them in a bowl or bucket, ensuring the dirty water off the floor.

Get that hoover out every couple of days and dust once a week.

There is no such thing as presuming that homes clean themselves. If only.
