Sadly Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown have called it a day after 14 years of marriage .
The celebrity couple's tumultuous affair even withstood drug addiction. Brown has been arrested several times and Whitney's career has not been all singing and all dancing for the past few years. There have also been charged of domestic abuse.
Whitney has ended the relationship, her spokeswoman Nancy Seltzer confirmed.
Ms Seltzer stated Whitney filed for a legal separation from Bobby, intending to start divorce proceedings next month.
Irreconcilable differences have been provided as the reason for the impending divorce .
Whitney would like custody of the couple's daughter and only child, 13 year old Bobbi Kristina.
There have been rumours about their marriage being on the rocks for some time. Unfortunately, it seems the rumour was not just hearsay.
